...probably due to disabling QOS, based on earlier posts. Like mowing your lawn with napalm.

Are you saying that it's required for this update to do a 30/30/30 reset before and after web flash?

I always do reset before'n after Smile
also 30/30/30 reset does not exist anymore, there is only
erase nvram via telnet or SSh Wink
if you have K3.18 unit the man said it right

reset galore doesnt fix those issues when code is just broken, it was a broken kernel update which is fixed already in internal builds, so next release will be fixed

I flashed last night my 1043ndv2 with this build. Did nvram reset from GUI (Restore Factory Defaults)... Unit rebooted couple of times during setup (e.g. when I changed local IP, DDNS, enabled pptp etc. and when I hit apply unit rebooted). It is stable for now. There were no rebooting since last night but I didn't touch it anymore. Build is very wierd, for example when I do https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 scan all service ports I see that I'm not "stealth" anymore... when listing iptables -vnL INPUT i don't get anything...

Both of the following releases broke my router:

07-20-2016-r30260
07-25-2016-r30284

My router is:

DLink DIR-825 C1

After upgraded couldn't connect. The 4 blue lights kept coming up every minute or so.

Fixed it by reverting back to 07-01-2016-r30082 release.

Did the whole thing once again. Hard reset or not. It boots but after I did the first changes again the router gets unreachable and goes to a boot loop.

Back to r30082
