perfect, thanks..it was that i was not logged in yet...thanks!
brings me to my next question for all....i was running 31971 from 3/30 with success...
i updated to 32170 and it started sporadically rebooting on its own...all lights would go off on the router for a blip, and then back on and work for a bit...this happens just under normal use and nothing i can see would trigger it...no settings changed between firmware (and now on 32402 and still happening)
anyone have any thoughts? i might just drop back down to 31971

That issue is unique to YOU.
So I'd make absolutely sure you aren't trying to load any old configuration files, at this point you should clear the NVRAM.
You can do a quick google for instructions on how to do that.
There is NO reason this firmware would have the issue you describe other then you have leftovers and you need to completely clear the NVRAM, then unless your router is physically defective you should be fine.

Could be bad download of corrupt file..I usually download file 2 times then run digestIT 2004 and create md5 hash checksum and insure both numbers are the same

Been running r32402 for several days now on my wrt3200. Had a reboot on Monday due to install of different Internet provider. Today had a case where the 5GHz was broadcasting, but when you tried to connect just set in connecting state. Another interesting thing is when I sshed into the router to do a reboot it hung. Since I have folks that get cranky if there is Internet outage, I decided to install davidc502 latest LEDE build. Have run it in the past without issue. Was following Brainslayer and his builds and was not having issues until today.
Am sure that a reboot would have fixed, but would have had a unhappy wife and teen girl complaining if this continued.
So there are two separate CPU ports for 3200ACM...?
Are they just two separate ports are two CPUS??
My Vlan configurations went under the assumption port 5 was CPU for the WAN and port 6 was CPU for the LAN, but based on that graphic it should actually be the reverse?

swconfig list

bullshit. do not use this rotten firmware. the wrt3200acm has the same switch as the 1900 and 1200 series

Hi guys, can I turn off a hard disk automatically whenever you do not use it for a certain time and then do you reactivate it automatically when you're questioned? thank you so much
Not sure if this helps but i use a Seagate Expansion drive with DD-WRT and used the Seagate tools to set a time to shutdown then plugged the drive back into my Router which worked ok
Oh great .. do I install it inside the router with optware?
No, I believe its a tool you would use in windows, while having the drive plugged in.
It basically writes the time-out to the device itself (the cradle I believe). So it's not reliant on any service running on whatever you have it plugged into.
