Hey there,
did I get this right, that you get your full speed with normal ping times, when 1Gbps Full Duplex is set?
Is this the default value, when cable and corresponding NIC comply?

Is the R7800 with ISP connection of 500Mbps already maxed out?
Background information:
I got a 400Mbps ISP connection and now I need to replace my WNR3500L,
because on DD-WRT-FW it only can handle 115Mbps in WAN-LAN throughput.
On stock it gets 520Mbps.

R7800 has such powerful CPU (1.7Ghz Dual Core) which can easyly handle 700Mbps~800Mbps+ WAN-LAN Throughput, even if NAT accelation(SFE or stock firmware's HW NAT) is disabled.
I'm using 500Mbps Down/Up ISP (real throughput is 470Mbps Down/Up)
and
in my case, there is almost no bufferbloat even if I'm Downloading or Uploading in my ISP's Full Speed (470Mbps).
As you can see (the attatchment),
Downloading test in my ISP's full speed (470Mbps),
sirq is under 30%,
which (typically) means, the router still has enough power to handle much more heavy traffic.
But note that, although R7800 has powerful processors, if your cable modem or some other kind of network equipments are causing bufferbloat, bufferbloat can occur.
Anyway, in my case, without QoS, with default NIC settings,
(as I posted in Page 103)
There is (almost) no bufferbloat (still keep normal ping) when downloading/uploading in ISP's Full Speed
and I'm happy with my R7800.

I upgraded to the latest 33525 Kong build and immediately see some bufferbloat related degradation in performance. Anyone else seeing the same issues?
more issues the better, maybe only then will brainslayer believe me...there is bufferbloat issues on ddwrt period (qos), but this platform has more issues with it than most _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

Whats your latency now? I have less than 25 on Lan and wifi connection and its even graded A on DSL speed test . My ISP speed is up to 250mbs _________________ Netgear R7800
Dear tatsuya46,
I checked #5991 ticket and numbers.
I have test it many times and dont have difference between wifi and Lan. The numbers are the same at my location. Sorry _________________ Netgear R7800
what about with high res bufferbloat option on? but ur upload already isnt good, as to why that could be several things _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

One more note for wifi side. Starting Kong 33525 build (10/16/17) i have 0 wireless packet errors on both wifi bands compare to 0.1% before
Idk what was improved but looks perfect _________________ Netgear R7800
