....I think.

R7000 w/ Kong 33435

I've noticed that clients will tend to lose connectivity around the same time for about 5-10 seconds. Then they resume like nothing happened. I looked at my syslog and the time period that this occurs shows new DHCP leases. I thought the DHCP lease is supposed to renew prior to expiration of the lease to maintain a seamless connection.

My leases were at 1440 minutes, but I changed them to 60 minutes.

Your client normally asks for a renewal half way trough the lease time.
For windows clients run cmd and ipconfig /all

Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : Sunday, October 15, 2017 2:30:56 PM
Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : Wednesday, October 18, 2017 10:46:30 AM

Odd, considering it's a 60 minute lease, or does that show when it was first obtained? If so, that means the renewal should have happened most recently at 9:46am, and should renew again at 10:16am?

That is odd, your client is confused.
Run:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

That should give you a lease time of 60 minutes (if you have configured it the right way) and renewal should take place after aprox 30 min.

Maybe just reboot your router and clients?

I've rebooted router and clients numerous times. Not the issue. Other windows laptop shows the same thing. Lease obtained on Sunday.

But, here's my new lease information:
Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : Sunday, October 15, 2017 2:30:56 PM
Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : Wednesday, October 18, 2017 11:13:29 AM

So you're right. About half way through.
