Hello,

I was able to follow the guide to flash my nop-8670 IXP425:

ip_address -l 192.168.1.1 -h 192.168.1.23
load -r -b 0x00800000 linux.bin
fis create linux
>fis load linux
>go

However, after it shows the line Freeing init memoy: 96k, it shows a bunch of characters like this:

All bugs added by David S. Miller <davem@redhat.com>
XScale DSP coprocessor detected.
Broken NVRAM found, recovering it (Magic 3BD28515)
drivers/rtc/hctosys.c: unable to open rtc device (rtc0)
VFS: Mounted root (squashfs filesystem) readonly.
Mounted devfs on /dev
Freeing init memory: 96K

Do you guys think the hardware is not good or I am missing something in the config?

Thanks,

Bye

Yes, after 90 seconds i can see the wrt control panel and it asks for the activation key. Can I have the 24 hours trial key to continue testing?

When it restarts it displays :
[error] ixEthMiiPhyScan : unexpected Mii PHY ID 00008201
[error] ixEthMiiPhyScan : unexpected Mii PHY ID 00008201

wifi and eth1 are ok.
eth0 is not ok. there is no link LED. Do I have to enable it inside dd-wrt?
I set COM1 to 15200 bits per second and still I get wird characters.

Thanks.
