Well that's a shame... have they giving up on any type of support for the D-Link? cause its the most stable device i have, it works well regardless of not being able to upgrade, but... i would like to be able to upgrade
my gf has same router as we do, but wasnt on build 24461. Sadly i can't recall which, and didnt rly pay close enough attention either. But i THINK she was on an older build, and it upgraded successfully.
Du kannst mal versuchen per proftpd und ssh das Update zu flashen.
Ich rate dir aber zwingend das Webupdate-Image zu nehmen. Mit dem Webflash-Image brickst du deinen Router und ich weiß nicht ob dein Router TFTP unterstüzt.
Make sure you use the correct path with wget. If you've never logged in to the console before, make sure telnet is enabled in the admin page, then go download putty. (google it)
telnet in and use "root" for the username and then whatever you have set as the admin pw, run the commands in the wiki, reboot and voila! you've upgraded.
Thanks for the guide. It worked really well, but now I have the next problem 😞
I've done a FW update from the second last to the current FW but now my router doesn't come up. 😞 ... The D-Link name and the network ports lit blue and the power LED blink amber.
I've tried the 30-30-30 procedure without success.
