I have 2 ASUS AC68. Updated both of them with 26093M, the guest wifi still does not work. Flashed only the main AC68U back BS 25974 and the guest wifi works again.

Anybody else has guest wifi issue with 36093M?

I just put 26081, on ac68u with the same setup as i have on another with the recommeded ddwrt from 2014 . old firmware had my guests working. now they don't as well.
all bridge settings look ok from what i see.
I'm still looking for typos..

Kong,

Just noticed am update to your personal test builds. Gonna give em a shot now. Were there changes to default settings that require a reset to defaults?

No changes, no reset required. I updated both of my routers without a reset and they are running absolutely great. One in AP the other in client mode.

Can I flash them on my R8000 or do I need to wait little bit longer?

Not on the R8000 yet. R8000 has different radios with embedded cpus, which require that a firmware is uploaded to the radio.

If you don't mind me asking... When/How long before you will have build ready for R8000?

I'm having serious ddwrt withdrawals Smile

Would Kong or someone else do a comparison chart between 24345M and latest firmware? I'm running flawlessly 24345M and I'd like to know if I should update my firmware.

Thanks in advance.

IPv6 is the main reason (when your ISP provides it)

Before 25000, IPv6 is in shambles.

I'm using 26093M on a wzr 1750 with 8 hours of uptime so far without the 2.4ghz channel vanishing, the version that was available right before this would run about 4 hours and then the channel would vanish. what changed between the latest version and the one prior? was it a revert to an older driver?

Curious to see people's results after a few weeks. My reboots varied from a few hours to 12+ days sometimes.

I had to add "tls-client" to my additional config to get openvpn to work. I still haven't got VAPs working (clients can't connect) on the new build.

Bandwidth monitoring is displaying "NaN" instead of a numerical value under Kong's 26093M.

I finally switched from Great Kong's 23900 to 26075M and also is displaying "NaN" instead of a numerical value.

Mito, the fix was to re-flash the same version.

Mike did today what you told me, ref-flaseh same version with/without reseting Settings, set everything on hand but keep on getting:

IN NaN Gbps Switch to bytes/s
Out NaN Gbps Autoscale (follow)

Must be a bug.
Hope Kong has a walkaround or fix.
If find one more troulble will reset back to my "beloved and no nonsense" 23900 Confused

Mito, on page 9 boochi said his was corrected after a reflash. Maybe he can tell you if he did a configure reset or not.

Well after 32 days of success on Kong's 24735M on my r7000 I've upgraded to Kong 26093M and will see whether I get any reboots or not (I was getting them on all versions of the NEWD driver prior to this attempt).

I did do a settings reset and configured from scratch, and my wl0_ampdu is set to auto...

Will postan update when either a reboot occurs (hopefully not) or after a couple weeks of success...

Just for kicks I ran a couple backups to my NAS simultaneously, did a Speed Test, etc just to stress the network a little upfront...

Fingers crossed...

Do you mind sharing your guest wifi setting? Are you using the ddwrt wiki guide that requires using iptables or Kongs personal blog guide?

Thanks,

My clients can connect to the guest wifi, just can't receive an ip, if set with static still can't access web or local guest subnet.

Ps.. Looks like king has posted allot of work for the r8000 to the svn. Might be time to pick one up for testing. Smile
