ive tried many combinations none work, what im trying to do is use the bonding "duplex" feature under setup -> networking tab with my dir-825 b1 connected to tl-wdr4900 v1.3 so one radio in client mode is the tx path & the other radio in client mode is the rx path. ive seen an old post from brainslayer saying u can do exactly this, but no directions are to be found anywhere.

the only results i get is either both radios are connected, but one is used for traffic while the other is always idle, or, both are connected & theres no wan or connection to the host nothing loads. whats on the wiki for bonding with atheros or bonding period, makes no sense

You should not expect to get a meaningful response in this forum. See the first post in this forum for an explanation, or try the advance routing forum.

1st i wrote a general instaruction in the wiki: bonding

it depents on the setup if it will work with encryption.
easyeast, i guess, is to connect the wifi interfaces, unbridge them with independent ip's. build 2 unbridged EoIP tunnels, each on over one interface and do bonding on the EoIP tunnels. this should work for ath9k unit, cause there was trouble with bonding and encryption beeing set.

i did that, none of the eoip interfaces appear in the list for bonding interface slave, all thats added in this list is etherip0. when i check elsewhere like multi dhcpd the 2 eoip interfaces are in the list, oet1 & oet2

also does the host router need to do anything with bonding? or just the client?
