This is a purely hypothetical question at this point, but what would happen if you were to rm -rf the root directory of the router via a ssh session. I guess what I'm asking is what would happen to the router / how would the router respond to such a request and is it possible to recover from something like that by pushing the reset button or by going through the steps to unbrick the router.
TL;DR what happens if you run rm -rf / on a dd-wrt router

It will erase all writeable partitions. Firmware is generally not mounted as writeable, so it won't be deleted. _________________ 2 times APU2 Opnsense 21.1 with Sensei
