I currently have a wrt54g and I have the dd-wrt firmware flashed and I am looking to go to a router that has the draft N option. I do not want to lose the abilty of using the dd-wrt firmware.

What are the best N routers that will work with dd-wrt.

Or what are the easiest ones to get flashed.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I looked at Linksys' website for the WRT300N and it states that it's a 10/100 router, not gigabit.

Here's the direct link: Linksys WRT300N

Hello, I'm newbie here. I read about DD-WRT firmware yesterday for first time.

First, sorry for my bad english, I'm from Spain.

Some questions...

I own a WRT300N v2 (european version), I would like to flash with DD-WRT but I don't understand very well if this router is supported by DD-WRT. What means..."device needed for port -> pm BrainSlayer" in supported devices section?

In supported devices section I read it's needed V24RC5 kernel support; Is now my router supported? It's posible to flash with mini image? It's capable for standard? or it's not supported?

In download section, I see various images (from DD-WRT v24 RC6.2/Broadcom/Linksys/WRT300N_v1), what difference between "dd-wrt.v24_generic_nokaid.bin" and "dd-wrt.v24_std_generic.bin"?

Is "dd-wrt.v24_mini_wrt300n.bin" image valid for my router? As I can read, first flash needs "mini" version.

Thanks.

i see you´re no technician.
the device could be supported if some would lent Brainslayer a device for the port. its a nice piece of hardware. and fast too.

you could start with giving us the fcc-id from the bottom label.
