I have a D-link 614 D4 v24 SP2 ( (SVN revision 15778)

I can set the IP address of the router at 192.168.1.*, where * could be any number <256

but setting to 192.168.0.99 it just does not work. No response from http:192.168.0.99

Replace 99 with any number <256 and the router will not connect with a cable.

Any ideas?

Set a static IP on your computer of 192.168.0.8. Then connect.
