At this moment i not have a working redboot.
Some research results:
1. WARNING!!! When ixdp425 redboot flashed, ADM6999 begins to heating more than 50-60C!!
2. Redboot from ADI Coyote is non-working too.
3. Very preliminary GPIO assignment:
GPIO[0] - ?
GPIO[1] - ?
GPIO[2] - EESK/XOVEN - EEPROM Clock Source (81 pin ADM6999)
GPIO[3] - ?
GPIO[4] - EEDO - EEPROM Data Output -- Serial data input from EEPROM (84 pin ADM6999)
GPIO[5] - ?
GPIO[6] - ?
GPIO[7] - nc?
GPIO[8] - ?
GPIO[9] - ?
GPIO[10] - 10k Pullup (4 pin non-soldered U2 - any regarding DMZ/INTERNET LED)
GPIO[11] - DMZ Mode LED?
GPIO[12] - Reset button (On the back of device, soldered S2)
GPIO[13] - ?
GPIO[14] - Diag LED
GPIO[15] - EX_CLK?
GPIO[11] marked as "?" because this one switches at the same time with DMZ Mode LED (from JTAG scan). No more tests was made.
GPIO[15] - the same testing way.
GPIO[7] - the electrical connection test failed. More tests needed.

Apo: Thanks for the info. I not found your link in the past. Really, anybody can download a GPL part of firmware from Cisco. RV042, as i posted above, have non-soldered only COM port (working), 20-pin JTAG port with standart ARM pinout (working), mini-pci (not tested yet) and any button (hardware reset, very likely).
Sash: Thanks for your link too, i posted some information on openwrt forum about a month ago )
I received the x-ray film two weeks ago. Anybody who wants to help me in the research, please let me know, - i'll send this scanned (or i'll upload this to my ftp). May be some Photoshop will be needed to see the connections (A different filters makes visible a different x-ray parts)
Some updates regarding GPIO:
GPIO[2] I/O EESK/XOVEN - EEPROM Clock Source (81 pin ADM6999)
GPIO[4] O EEDO - EEPROM Data Output -- Serial data input from EEPROM (84 pin ADM6999)
GPIO[12] Reset button
GPIO[10] 10k Pullup (4 pin non-soldered U2 - any regarding DMZ/INTERNET LED)
GPIO[1] non-soldered RTC, 3pin
GPIO[0] non-soldered RTC, 2pin
GPIO[5] O 1 pin U12 !OE LVC374 1 GPIO - LVC 374 enabled
GPIO[3] I "EDI/LEDMODE - EEPROM Serial Data Input
This pin is the output for serial data transfer (79 pin ADM6999)"
At this moment i have a lacks in GPIO[7] (AA26 ball), GPIO[6] (V21 ball), GPIO[9] (V22), GPIO[8]
(W23) and GPIO[13] (V24). May be i'll decide to resolder and reball the CPU ((

Useful link, but RV042 has other GPIO assignment. Also no any existing Redboot does not work on this hardware. A custom project from the sources needed.
For this purpose needed to complete the information about GPIO assignment, find ADM6999 driver, realize all above in code and cross-compile the customized Redboot.
2All: i sold my RV042 devices and my survey completed. I still willing to share scanned x-ray film with any interested follower, but no more actions from my side.

I just read through this tread in it's entirety and I must say you're doing a great job getting back to the community with updates. It seems like you got some useful data to work with in the last few months and I was wondering if any progress had been made or if you've hit a wall for a bit. Anyway keep on trying I'd love to fire up my rv082 again and ditch my netscreen 5gt. Let us know how it's coming if you have a few minutes.

No any work made since my previous post, because, as i wrote, i sold all my devices and nobody wants to follow me. I can continue only if anybody will donate RV0x2 for me. (for the finalization of the research stage a broken one is enought, but for the programming and debugging the working one needed)
Also on openwrt forum one guy wants to make the openwrt port with me - may be the openwrt will appear first.
Don't know nothing, because at this moment i don't have the hardware.
I am sending an rv082 to a guy at openwrt. He said he will make the port to redboot to get the rv082 working for openwrt which should be able to then be easily ported to dd-wrt. I will let you know once he gets back to me. He said early September he should be done.
