Wake on LAN

Wake-on-LAN is an ethernet protocol for waking computers up from a very low power mode remotely. This was created by AMD in collaboration with Hewlett-Packard.

GUI

1. Open your router's configurations website and login (default: 192.168.11.1)

2. Go to Network Services –> Wake on LAN

3. Add a new entry with the [+] Button

4. Enter a Device Name (only for managing entries)

5. Enter the MAC Address of the device you want to wake up

6. If needed: enter the password from your target / check the box to wake up the target on boot

Make sure you have enabled wake on lan on your target! Mostly you will find this option in the bios under 'Power'.
