mine is version 1.8
Could I flash it with "dd-wrt firmware"??
Mine's 1.7.. wish they update the router DB page with a changelog / pending firmware known issues- it still says TP-Link TL-WR1043ND 1.1 / 1.4
Update: Wiki compatibility page lists the following as compatibile:
(DE)1.0 / 1.1 / 1.4 / 1.5 / 1.6 / 1.7 w/ firmware version WR1043ND v.24 SP2 - build 13972 - 20100223 - which is a little old
There is a TP-WN1043ND thread on this board which answers all your questions, just use search function. _________________ TP-Link WR-1043ND v1.6, running 15501

Hi all of you.
I update the stock OS to DDWRT - build 14896.
The problem is that the maximum Tx power which I can put is 20dBm.
I saw that there is field in the gui which is for regional Tx power. I try a few like Albania, Mexico, USA but i can't reach high level of Tx power.
Please advice which country to choose to have maximum power or what is the limit of the Atheros Wireless.
