| Yes, I mean from J2 from top to bottom in that picture.
By pwr, I mean the 3.3v pwr pin from the usb TTL device. You will still need to plug in the router to the power 110/220v power outlet. |

Rx Tx Gnd You don't need pwr. Should work. If not, since you are not using pwr you won't fry anything. |

Have you tried setting you network card to a static IP? say, 192.168.1.9? And then try pinging 192.168.1.1 |
