iPhone tethering not working

WRT32X with 54604

I set the WAN as iPhone tethering, but when I plug the usb port in, I don’t get the ‘trust this computer’ prompt on the iPhone. It charges, but nothing else happens.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get this to work?

Is USB core support enabled on "Services -> USB"?

iPhone Tethering works as WiFi Station but not USB Tethering

If it is still broken in current release after upgrading, then "we have a problem"... what's in the system logs?
