A little update. I noticed that somewhere along the way, the USB 3 (not USB | eSATA) port no longer powers my USB fan. Didn't have the knack to plug into the other port, using an external USB power source. Image for reference only.

EDIT: Logs attached, got my USB fan connected to the USB 2 | eSATA port and it works.

EDIT 2: Ticket #7712 (WRT3200ACM - USB 3.0 port turn off at start up) created by dance85

Same issue here. Both USB fan or flash drive won't power up on the USB 3 port. My WRT3200ACM is running r53714 but looks like issue started from r53662.

Well that may explain why USB3 ports are not working with late builds.

@oliver44 not that I'm aware of.
No speed issues observed so far.

What port was affected?
Does it flicker between 100 and 1000?
Or how do you check for this?
When does it happen?

My WAN connection on this device is only 10 Mbit/s.
Could use iperf though.

@Zyxx I will attach a log with OpenWrt to let you know if there are problems on the switch port side!

@kosmos: Without screenshots of your current settings, basic and advanced, for wifi, and the tell-tale upnp entries, it's a shot in the dark on what to suggest - but I suspect it to be a configuration issue or client issue. Does this happen every hour per default GTK renewal interval? The Marvell driver doesn't support certain settings for wifi, so, this may be where the problem lies (configuration), or not.

I have 2 same routers on the one (with the connections) 1 Raspberry + combines many other different clients and on the 2nd router 2 Raspberrys + other clients.

The first router throws out the clients regularly, despite good reception and broadcast strength. Bis auf das Firmwareuptdate habe ich an den Einstellungen nichts geändert.

Here are the logs of a Raspberry on the 2nd router, you only see the daily reboot at 4 a.m.

@kosmos: Unless you have a specific need to upnp, disable it. Security hole. Also, I do not think that beamforming is supported in Marvell, so disable single / multi-user beamforming.

@dale_gribble39: Thank you very much, I deactivated upnp and the two beamforming options and haven't had a single disconnect for several hours now.

Greetings. I do not see any update in https://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/7712 - just checking if this is fixed in the latest build.

@uvz123a: both USB ports work fine on my 3200 with this build, I just have not put the network completely back together yet and put it fully in operation. Power is on during initial power-on, then it goes off, then comes back during boot and stays on.

Thank you, Dale. Glad to know the issue has been resolved.
