Well I was able to get the router back for a while. But it seems that last compile may have bricked it? It said it flash successfully then after reboot said the ip may have changed or something. Since then I cant telnet, ping or get into the router at all. I tried resetting the router, same results. Cant get in any way.

Is this thing bricked now?

I flashed it the the wired LAN port. I never flash wirelessly. I tried the 30-30-30 reset without luck as well.

If you asking if wifi works... it doesnt either.

r13064 seems to be not working either? On someone elses router it killed the lan ports but kept wireless alive.

Any ideas from here? I tried to downgrade the fw over the wireless but it didnt take.

Update: Was able to downgrade the fw after trying a couple more times. So this router is ok for now. Now if I could mine to work again.

Well the one I fixed isnt here so Im not touching that one again. Its my dads and its in another city 450 miles away. So I wont be playing with that one. Ill try to fix my personal one.

If I do get in with the serial got any hints on what to do next? This is all new to me.

I flashed to the build noted above (ar670w-ddwrt-webflash.bin) and when I disable Clone MACs and disable WLAN the MACs are still correct.

So my serial cable is working. Im assuming its built right but who knows. I dont have a voltage connetion for it.
